Hello~ My name is Amber and I'm a book lover and aspiring author living in remote Ariel, Washington. I always have a book on hand and one of my myriad of notebooks with me at all times. I am what one may call a perpetual researcher, pushed to pursue knowledge in whatever area my muse spins my way, regardless if it can be used in my works-in-progresses~ I own several non-fictions books that range from folklore treasuries, reference guides over rituals from druidic to shugendo, and a myriad of bestiaries from across several seas~
When I was younger, I was fan of mysteries and thrills and was obsessed with the Goosebumps and Boxcar Children books but my older cousin introduced me to the world of fantasy and its adjacent realm of sci-fi by lending me Magic Tree House and Harry Potter and I have yet to regret the plunge. Sadly, nearly all the people close to me are not book readers. Unable to truly discuss my thoughts and, I admit, ramblings of my beloved books, I have decided to write down my thoughts here for fellow book lovers to see and read!
